The Bible Code

Michael Drosnin wrote The Bible Code (B. C.). For 3000 years, a code in the Bible has remained hidden. Now it has been unlocked by computer and it may reveal our future.

Consequently, The Code, broken by an Israeli mathematician, foretells events that happened thousands of years after the writing of the Bible.

In fact, it foresaw both Kennedy assassinations, the Oklahoma bombing – everything from World War II to Watergate, from the Holocaust to the Moon landing. Source: Publisher.

About The Bible Code

In 2002, Penguin Random House published B. C. II: The Countdown, which reached New York Times Bestseller status. As a result, the trilogy concluded in 2010 with the release of B. C. III: Saving the World.

Drosnin claims that the Bible contains a “Bible Code,” in which messages are purportedly hidden in the Torah and can be deciphered by placing lettering from relevant Torah passages at equal intervals in a text formatted to fit within a graph.

Bible Code II: The Countdown describes Drosnin’s theory that extraterrestrial life brought the genetic code to Earth (which he also claims brought the DNA of humans onto the planet). Drosnin believes the alien who brought the code is near the Dead Sea.

In fact, Drosnin’s book claims to be on the same approach described by three scientists in a paper they published in 1994 titled Equal Letter Sequences in the Book of Genesis, who have all responded negatively to the conclusions drawn in his book.

Therefore, Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the film rights in 1997, stating that the work “addresses the age-old questions of human purpose, the meaning of the Bible, and the uniqueness of the human experience.”

Nevertheless, Warner Bros never gave the green light to the screenplay. Pictures and the rights ultimately reverted to the author.

Consequently, Relativity Media purchased the film rights in 2010 before producing B. C. III: Saving the World. Nevertheless, the company initially hoped the film would begin production in 2012 but never saw the production start.
