Interesting Times By Terrace (Audio CD)
Interesting Times is a compilation of songs that includes ten songs made by Terrace over the last seven years. “Sparks begin to fly” is the first song on the album.
Stefan Robbers is the brainchild behind Terrace. The Dutch-born musician is widely known as one of the most versatile and productive producers in the electronic dance music genre, both in the country and abroad.
Under the aliases REC (Djax-upbeats) and Con Man (P.i.a.s. ), he released techno productions and melodic techno across several pseudonyms like Terrace (Eevo Lute and Djax) or Florence. Stefan’s recorded his experimental music under the name Sierra Romeo.
Furthermore, Stefan has been a record producer for Eevo Lute Muzique since 1992, producing abstract and electronic music in its broadest form.
In the past five years, the label has released more than 40 albums. After a transitional period from 1998 to 2001, the label found its way back to business with renewed enthusiasm and new releases.
In 1998, Eevo Lute Muzique went digital and became one of the most influential techno labels in the Netherlands. The move to EevoNext was an opportunity to expand their reach digitally.
Since November 2006, EEVONEXT has released twice a month a high-quality download from a featured artist. These high-quality downloads are available from the EEVONEXT web store and other established online stores, such as iTunes, Beatport, and others.
Among his other projects is a concert with a 30-piece orchestra in Jyvaskyla (Finland), a multimedia live show with projected video for the Tokyo-based arts collective Ambient Web, and Dutch TV’s Moondive Project.
Stefan has developed an upbeat solo live show under the techno moniker Terrace to bring awareness to his label and music. The live set brings electronic music to the audience in a fun, energetic way.
